APAC Board of Directors to Discuss Potential Bylaws Change
The Board of Directors of the FAA Apartment Political Action Committee will meet on Sept. 30 at 1 p.m. in Orange meeting rooms A-C at the Hilton Orlando, 6001 Destination Parkway, Orlando, FL 32819. The board will discuss and possibly vote on a potential change to the APAC bylaws. The changes appearing in blue in this document would move APAC's existing local campaign contribution policy into APAC's formal bylaws. In addition, the changes would clarify that local affiliates can request up to 30% of the funds raised by the local affiliate in a 2-year campaign/election cycle beginning January 1, 2021. This change will give affiliates greater flexibility to utilize APAC funds for local campaigns over the course of an election cycle versus being limited to using a portion of the funds raised on an annual basis.
