FAA Leaders Set Vision for Future

FAA leaders from across the state met on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, to discuss the vision for the association's next three to five years. The planning session at the Maitland headquarters of the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando was facilitated by NAA resource director Jennifer Schlueter.

An updated mission and vision statement will be voted on by the FAA Board of Directors at its October 2 meeting. The planning group decided that FAA's focus for the next few years will be to engage multifamily professionals at all levels of the industry, from on-site staff to the C-suite and owners.

Sip to Support Scholarships on Oct. 4

Support the Nan Cavarretta Memorial Scholarship Fund as you enjoy a selection of award-winning wines in a private tasting hosted by a certified sommelier. Cavarretta, a longtime FAA member and leader who was especially active in educational programs for professionals in the multifamily industry, passed away in 2015.

Admission to the wine tasting is a tax-deductible donation of $60 to the Nan Cavarretta Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The Nan Cavarretta Memorial Scholarship, managed by the Florida Apartment Association and administered in partnership with the AAGO Foundation, was established in 2015 to assist in the training and development of emerging multifamily housing leaders through FAA’s Leadership Lyceum program. Scholarship recipients are dynamic professionals who have a broad-based vision for, and strong commitment to, the mission and strategic objectives of the Florida Apartment Association and its local associations.

To register for the wine tasting, click here and scroll down to view registration options.

If you are not able to attend, please consider making a donation.
