Overview
The Florida Apartment Association is seeking education session proposals for Inspire, Powered by FAA, the 2026 FAA Annual Conference & Trade Show. FAA provides 1,200+ conference attendees with educational and innovative presentations that actively engage and inform. Speakers and sessions should stimulate discussion and address relevant and timely topics that impact members of the multifamily property management profession.

About Inspire 2026
Inspire, powered by FAA, assembles multifamily industry professionals from across the state to engage in three days of educational sessions and events. The conference will take place October 14-16, 2026, at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Conference attendees include property management executives, senior leadership, developers, property managers, maintenance professionals, onsite community staff, and industry suppliers. Conference attendees seek to improve their careers through professional development, engagement and collaboration. This is your chance to share your time, talent, inspiration and ideas on the Florida apartment industry's biggest stage.
What We’re Looking For | Topic Areas
FAA is focused on how individuals and organizations can stay current through professional growth and development, no matter their experience or career level. FAA wants to provide sessions with practical solutions to common challenges that will have long-term career value. Attendees should be able to return to their organizations with a fresh perspective and the ability to implement change based on the knowledge they’ve gained through each session.
Sessions should focus on trends, technology, and techniques vetted by theory, research, and practice. All presentations should highlight one of our industry-specific categories:

Presenter Options and Session Types
FAA offers a mixture of presentations from panels of subject matter experts who volunteer their time, talent, and expertise and professional (paid) speakers. Each session type provides a unique perspective for attendees and a blend of engaging topics. Every year the Conference Committee reviews dozens of high quality session proposals, and the effort put into your submission makes a big difference. Supplier companies may not submit any promotional or advertising material. The proposed topic must be educational and relevant to the multifamily industry without explicitly promoting your company.
Please read the session type details below carefully to choose the appropriate form for your session submission.
Panels of Subject Matter Experts: If you are not a professional speaker, this is the session type you should choose to submit for Inspire 2026. These sessions include 2-4 subject matter experts discussing timely and engaging topics (as defined above) in a one hour session.

Criteria for Panels:
- Session Length: About 1 hour, with time for Q&A
- Panel Composition: Moderator and no less than two panelists. No more than one supplier partner may participate on a single panel, and each must include at least one property management professional with subject matter expertise.
- Membership Status: All panelists must be employed by FAA member companies.
- Session Limits: No more than three separate sessions may be submitted for consideration.
Professional Speaker Presentations: These sessions are facilitated by individuals with specific expertise and experience presenting lively topics to audiences of all sizes. FAA contracts with these speakers for paid presentations based on their skill set and subject matter expertise. Prior experience as a professional speaker is required in order to be considered.

Criteria for Paid Speakers:
- Session Length: About 1 hour, with time for Q&A
- Demo Video: Each paid speaker must submit a demo reel or an introductory video for the Conference Committee. A link to record a video is provided in the speaker proposal form.
- Prior Experience: Paid speakers must have expertise in the subject matter and training in professional facilitation.
Session Selection Process
The FAA Conference Committee will meet in February 2026 to evaluate session proposals for panels and paid speakers. All proposals must be submitted online by the deadlines posted above. Incomplete, late, or blatantly promotional submissions will not be considered.
