LEAD Committee Scholarship

The FAA LEAD Committee Scholarship application is now open!

Through the Leadership, Engagement, Advancement & Development (LEAD) Committee, FAA provides two different scholarships each year to equip, guide, and assist members in advancing their career.

One scholarship provides the recipient resources to complete FAA's Leadership Lyceum program. Candidates interested in participating in the 2027 FAA Leadership Lyceum should submit the interest form.

The deadline to express interest is Friday, October 23, 2026.

The second scholarship provides the recipient resources to complete designation training such as CALP, CAM, CAMT, CAPS, etc.

The 2027 scholarship application deadline is November 6, 2026!

The Leadership, Engagement, Advancement & Development Committee is dedicated to cultivating informed future leaders within the association and the industry. One of the committee's goals is to provide members opportunities to advance into leadership roles within the association and the industry through education.
Individuals with at least 1 year of experience in residential property management, including leasing, management, or maintenance are eligible to apply. While all members are welcome to apply for both scholarships, applicants who demonstrate a financial need will be given priority in the selection process. 
The scholarship covers the following expenses:
LEAD Leadership Lyceum Scholarship
  • Registration fees associated with FAA's Leadership Lyceum Program, FAA's Legislative Conference (Impact), and FAA's Annual Conference (Inspire)
  • Travel costs to attend all components necessary to complete FAA's Leadership Lyceum Program (three program modules, one Board of Director's Meeting, Impact & Inspire attendance)

LEAD Designation Scholarship

  • Designation program fees
  • Travel costs to attend all components necessary to complete the designation. Please note: if a program is not offered in your immediate area, you must attend the next closest program.
  • Registration to attend FAA's Legislative Conference (Impact) and FAA's Annual Conference (Inspire)
NOTE: Scholarship recipients will be required to complete the Leadership Lyceum program or designation program within one calendar year. Recipients of both scholarships must submit detailed travel receipts to be eligible for reimbursement. 
Scholarship candidates are required to complete a scholarship registration form. The LEAD Committee will meet in December to review applications and select a scholarship recipient.
