FAA Asks Governor to Classify Elements of Multifamily Housing ‘Essential’ During COVID-19 Crisis

The Florida Apartment Association has requested that Gov. Ron DeSantis classify elements of the multifamily housing industry “essential” in the event of a shelter-in-place decree.

 “FAA understands the importance of stable, reliable, quality housing especially during this public health crisis,” wrote Josh Gold, FAA executive vice president, in a letter delivered to the governor today. “Now more than ever, apartment residents need a home in which to isolate and an ability to rely on the important functions of the multifamily industry to make sure that their home remains in good repair.” Read the full letter here.
